I've been looking for a way to get more involved with the TAY community as of late, and I think I have an idea for something fun and worthwhile we can all do. Seeing as there's not much of anything interesting coming out in February, I thought we could use it to discuss our favorite games of all time. But I'd like it to be in a more interesting way than just asking everyone to post their favorite game in the comments section. See, when somebody asks you, "what do you think is the best game ever?", odds are you have a ready answer for it; however, many of us haven't really taken the time to think about why that game is the best one ever. Thus, I propose that during the month of February that anybody who is interested sits down and writes a really in-depth review of their best game ever. (Spoiler: In case you couldn't tell, mine's Banjo-Tooie). Take the time to really consider the ins and outs of what puts your best game above all the rest. I think this would make a good opportunity not only for everyone to really ponder what it is you love about games, but to give all the rest of us a great list of games to try out in our down time.
If you decide to participate, write out your review and then title the article "Best Game Ever Review: (Your Game Here)" and make one of the tags "Best Game Ever". I'm currently in the process of writing mine and I hope to have it done in the next couple of days. I hope to hear from at least some of you.
P.S. I wasn't sure if this better belonged in TAY or TAYClassic, so I've put it in Classic to be on the safe side. If someone with more wisdom than I deems it something that should be on TAY then go ahead and share it there.
